Sports/Deep Tissue Massage

Sports massage is a term often used for Remedial Massage, it is a type of massage that targets specific muscles that you have been using during intense activity.  With the aim of improving form and assisting with recovery. Therapists will use a variety of techniques to help address areas of concern and work with the client to improve performance.
Often the therapist may recommend exercises or use sports taping to assist with technique and activation of key muscles.
If you have a specific requirement for deep tissue sports massage please book in with one of our Remedial Massage Therapists and advise them at your appointment of any issues or goals you have and they will put you on a path to resolve and achieve.
Is this the same as a deep tissue massage?
Deep tissue massage talks to the intensity of the pressure the therapist apply during the treatment, it is not a style of massage in itself.  Our therapists will check in with you throughout the treatment to ensure you are comfortable with the pressure.
