We are springing back into the run season and nothing like City2Surf to dust the cobwebs away.
It’s now two weeks before the biggest fun run in the world, City2Surf, it's also a serious fun run for many! Which means training is recommended. We also recommend a pre race tune up, and our athlete/running specialist, Laura Quickfall is on hand over the next two weeks to work with you to improve your tissue function and generally just iron out any of those niggles. You can find muscle medicine in Double Bay and Sydney CBD.
Don't forget after the race there may be a few aches and pains that need a different kind of workout. Booking in ahead of time is a smart move to secure your spot as they are already filling up. Having a massage after a race is a great way to ensure you are back to training quickly and don't need too much down time.
It's also a great idea to stock up on our bath salts to soak away the muscle tension and help recover after Heartbreak Hill! If you are interested in one of our bespoke blends call ahead and we'll make sure we have them on hand for you when you come in.

We love the community we belong to and City2Surf is a massive part of it, so keep an eye out for all the guys we work with; Laura and Danni are hoping for PB's, though both have had to deal with injuries in the lead up. The Balance in Motion, Body and Bone and of course The Running Club teams are also participating and will try to keep up with Laura. My money's on Laura for the best time of the day!
